      <description>Strange, I looked up this word about 2 minutes before I signed on to Wordie this morning. &lt;a href="/words/MW3"&gt;MW3&lt;/a&gt; says that it was often pronounced cham- rather than sham- in its &lt;a href="/words/floruit"&gt;floruit&lt;/a&gt;.</description>
