Is it a word?! If cthulhu / cthulu is a word, there's no doubt at all about hongry. Many more people have been hongry than have had whatever experience it is that our squid-faced friend purports to endow.

A fictional creature created by the author H.P. Lovecraft. A dreadful squid-headed creature. Seemingly the inspiration for the Davy Jones character in "Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest."
