      <description>Aside from the pallid bust of Pallas, this word has another meaning. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"... in &lt;a href="/words/astronomy"&gt;astronomy&lt;/a&gt;, a new &lt;a href="/words/planet"&gt;planet&lt;/a&gt;, situate (sic) between the orbits of &lt;a href="/words/Mars"&gt;Mars&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="/words/Jupiter"&gt;Jupiter&lt;/a&gt;, and is a little larger in magnitude than &lt;a href="/words/Ceres"&gt;Ceres&lt;/a&gt;, but of a less ruddy colour.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"It was discovered by Dr. Olbers, at Bremen, in Lower Saxony, on the 28th of March 1802, the same active &lt;a href="/words/astronomer"&gt;astronomer&lt;/a&gt; who discovered Ceres some years after Piazza had first discovered it at Palermo, in Sicily.
