Wow, now that we finally have a word for cutting up one's credit cards, cutting up one's credit cards doesn't actually work. (You can still buy stuff online, for example.)

I heard this word in an interview with Ramsey on 60 Minutes. I'm sure he said "plasectomy" (without the "t"). When I looked up the word, I found it spelled both ways so I went with what I thought was his pronunciation.
