      <description>I like this spoof etymology (for which I don't know the attribution): &lt;a href="/words/poly"&gt;poly&lt;/a&gt;, meaning &lt;a href="/words/many"&gt;many&lt;/a&gt;, and &lt;a href="/words/tick"&gt;tick&lt;/a&gt;s, meaning small blood-sucking parasites.</description>
