Very true, np and c_b. It's one of the aspects of Wordie I love best. :-) And c_b, it didn't even occur to me to read it in cloud form, probably because you suggested the list version. Now I'm off to contemplate the cloud of Journey of a 300-Year-Old House.

I think you're spot on with the "ordinary" words. Playing with this sort of thing (Wordie) allows the ordinary to interconnect. You can make transcendent weavings with plain old yarns.

Gosh, I didn't think it would have this kind of effect. Thanks, all. Glad you like it!

I love the "clump of words" characteristic of lists, that these Wordie lists work in a linear sense as well as a cloud sense, that you can read a "story" by reading a list, even if it's missing huge chunks of grammatically necessary stuff.

That's why all my Tunies highlight fairly pedestrian words. I like the juxtaposition of them on a list so much, I don't mind having "ordinary" words listed. I figured that was just me and other people would find it dull, though.

Rocks, don't worry, you're among friends. :) I feel the same way about history. Trust me, I do.

This actually brought tears to my eyes. Granted, I probably have a larger soft spot than the average American for the restoration of old homes and buildings.

A well crafted list, to be sure.

I love this list idea! I've often thought of doing it but couldn't find a good subject. This is great! Thanks, c_b!
