I am deeply insulted that you think I would stoop to chicanery pterodactyl. Sure, I would stoop to hornswoggling or bamboozling (I even like the occasional bilk), but not chicanery.
Us crooks have standards too you know.

Squidwashing liquid? Why, the very idea! If you persist in this barefaced chicanery, good sir or madam, I shall have to report you to the Better Squidness Bureau!

Pterodactyl, English speakers just have a suspicious variety of words for damn near everything. :)

Worried? You don't have to worry about your fellow wordies. By the way, would you like to buy a bottle of squidwashing liquid? I can get it wholesale. You would of course need to pay first.

Great list incidentally.

Maybe Eskimos don't have dozens of words for snow after all, but I've noticed that English speakers have a suspicious variety of words for being sneaky.

I'm surrounded by English speakers every day. Should I be worried? :-)
