How lofty can a list that implies reservation really be?
I think maybe the loftometer is malfunctioning.

I have to respectfully disagree, darq-o. This:
Nicknames you shouldn't give to an axe-wielding, loincloth-wearing barbarian warrior with bulging thews is the loftiest list on all of wordie. I've tested it against the loftometer. This list will make me laugh so hard that, just like in "Mary Poppins," (that's right) I begin to rise off the ground -- aloft, as it were. No other list gets me loftier, ergo, this is the loftiest list of all.

Milton never gets a rise out of me.

well, considering that "interesting" is a rather trite adjective, I suppose that most of them could be considered at least somewhat "interesting."
Lofty, however, is a word that cannot be used so generously.
Of all the lists that approach, or possibly achieve loftiness... this is certainly the loftiest.
After all, it was the Heav'nly Muse whose was thence invoked to aid Milton's advent'rous song... pursuing things unattempted yet in prose or rhyme.
