      <description>Great list. I think I'll &lt;a href="/words/steal"&gt;steal&lt;/a&gt; a few for my &lt;a href="http://wordie.org/lists/3549"&gt;Wort to the wise&lt;/a&gt; list of brewing terms!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And bilby, you're right on &lt;a href="/words/skunked"&gt;skunked&lt;/a&gt;. I believe hops are the culprit.</description>

      <description>I've heard that 'skunked' means that beer has gone off due to exposure to light, which makes compounds in beer break down into thiols, similar chemicals to those found in a skunk's spray.  Hence the dark bottles.&lt;br /&gt;</description>
