      <description>Here in New Mexico are the &lt;a href="/words/Sandias"&gt;Sandias&lt;/a&gt;, which means &lt;a href="/words/watermelons"&gt;watermelons&lt;/a&gt; in Spanish. Named for the reddish hue they take on in the sunset, and the darker trees sort of resemble black seeds from a distance. South of them are the smaller &lt;a href="/words/Manzanos"&gt;Manzanos&lt;/a&gt;, which means &lt;a href="/words/apple trees"&gt;apple trees&lt;/a&gt;, referring to the orchards in the region.</description>
