There's an old Dave Barry article that touches on the subject. I happen to enjoy the dessert, but I can also appreciate the article. u, you might especially appreciate this one, since it's really about Christmas in Florida.

Funny list oroboros! I read it while gulping down some of Walmart's Bad Ass Bordeaux. It tastes like liquid fruitcake.
