It's getting all miasma up in here.

Magnanimous is back. Should it be listed again?

Yeah, that sounds neat! I was going to suggest features but you already did... see you over there.

That would be useful, pter.

You know, when I first joined Wordie, I thought that "Most Wordied" meant "Most Commented On". Now I know that it doesn't, I find myself wishing that there were a "Most Commented On" list for the last 7 days. It'd be nice to be able to see at a glance which words are getting all the action this week.

Anyone else feel the same way? If so, I'll nip on over to features and submit it for John's consideration.

Thanks mollusque - I've been hors d'internet for the last week except for a snatched hour on Weds, back now though.

Yarb, guess what just tappened.

And thank you for the interlude, prolagus.

Thank you so much! I would have missed that one.

(On the rhythm of Ain't no sunshine)

Honeysuckle's at the top,
And I'm stuck in th'oubliette.
Now crepuscular's above all,
the doll's head inside a bowl
Will not be crème de la crème.

Honeysuckle's at the top.

Moreover, yarb, if you add the SECOND word you MAKE it a word worth adding!

Excellent, thanks mollusque - I almost forgot it...

Oubliette was top of the list briefly today.

Thank you chaps.

Confelicity was top of the most wordied list for about a week ending about two weeks ago. At one point it had 9 listings in one week, the highest I recall seeing for any word. I don't remember what topped the list after that. John could probably reconstruct it.

whichbe - I think a simple "thumbs up / thumbs down" vote and stat for each word is a great idea!

2 months ago yarb said:

If you give me the approximate date, mollusque - but I want it to be a continuous list, so I'll also need any words between confelicity and blattteroon.

2 months ago mollusque said:

Could you backdate it a bit and start with confelicity?

2 months ago whichbe said:

Ahaha, it's also another angle/method of looking at "word popularity" besides The Big List.
Alas there aren't any 'anti-words' wherein users could 'vote down' words they didn't like.

I know. It's positively evil. Deliciously so. *mwaahahahaha*

What I particularly like about this list is its reflexiveness. By adding a word to this list, I may prolong that word's stay at the top of the "most wordied, last 7 days" list, thereby denying another word the chance to top that list.

Hey, good idea!
