Seanahan--Judaism? What's that? ;-)

I first heard these words so many years ago that I've lost count. "The Feast of the Circumcision" was all I knew then, and who ever bothered to tell us J.C. was Jewish in the first place?

I'm pretty sure that Indiana Jones used the term "penitent", although he quoting a Catholic.

As for circumcision, have you heard of Judaism?

Yes, but still a word with religious connotations. I was going more for the kind of words that I *thought* had only meanings related to religion, but that turned out to mean other things altogether--like virgin, for example. ;-)

Chrism? I thought only Catholics used it too, until I looked it up and found out it's common in "eastern" churches (I don't know if that also means "eastern religions" or what). Maybe it is only common among Catholics.
