This list should be called "eggs is eggs".
The Boys
My favorite euphemism is my associates. Great for catching people off guard! Would you like to meet my associates?
See threp in't steans.
You know, I thought many and many a time about making this list public. And then I think "Oh god, no."
Orchidectomy's just another word for nothing left to lose .....
Don't blame us. Mollusque is the guy with the lexicon.
I am trying to remain composed here in my little cubicle, and you all are making it very hard...
Creamballs? Creamballs?
Oh no. There's a lexicon.
From the Cyclopedic Lexicon of Sex: twins, berries, creamballs, fries, seed factory, razoos, rollies, tommy rollocks, oysters, innominables, bobbles, bean pods, culls, and testosities.
Eew.
Well done, that's a perfect explanation! Now the testicles of Russia are fully within chained_bear's grasp, as it were.
Bilby, you're right about the Russian word, which I would transliterate as yaichko, and about its origin (as a diminutive of яйцо – yaytso – "egg"), but the pronunciation is more like this yah-EECH-ka (the second Cyrillic letter is a full "i", not a "short i").
яичко is a Russian word meaning testicle, literally 'little egg'. Pronunciation would be something like 'YAYCH-ka', rolig or someone else knowledgeable might be able to confirm/correct that.
OK, I feel somewhat guilty even viewing this list, let alone contributing to it, but, if we're talking about the "nearby parts" (should that really be plural?!?) I have to say this list is incomplete without:
dangler
member
spitting cobra
*stunned*
*also completely grossed out*
Weapons.
(Scroll down to number 1)
Mollusque, I would like to thank you for your voluminous contributions... only before I had a chance, I read the definition of lamb fries and now I'm about to chunder.
P.S. sionnach, that was a good one!
Hi c_b, a search of OED online turns up more testicular terminology (some of it obsolete): cobblers, dimissaries, dowsets, genitors, goolies, knackers, marbles, monkey glands, nadgers, nutmegs, pendants, and pills. "Lamb fries", which I suggested before, are "The products of lambs' castration" eaten fried.
As Lance Armstrong would say, it really takes ball to start a list like this.
HaHaHa!!! Dangerous things fireworks, eh?
the boy stood on the burning deck
his pocket full of crackers
one fell down between his legs
and blew off both his earpiece things dangling from his iPod
Decorum, please.
Avocado(s) for the etymology.
Scollops, often in the joc(k)ular form scollies.
Oh, sorry, SoG, didn't see your comment until now! Yes, someone else suggested family jewels, but I just went with jewels, figuring you could put "family" in front of a number of these terms.
Lamb fries? I'm unfamiliar with that one.
How about lamb fries? (Listed in OED2.)
How about "family jewels"?
You know, I like both john thomas and trouser snake, but it seems like they don't belong here, despite the caveat in the list description that the list includes terms for nearby parts. I added them anyway--but not peter, about which I feel the same way as I do about tampax--I don't like the term enough even to put it on a list of terms I don't like. Thanks for the suggestions!
Then there's "trouser snake".....
thefreedictionary says peter
Peter is also a euphemism for penis; see There's a Skeeter on My Peter.
Nearby parts, SoG? Gosh, this list could become the next "-tory." ;-)
May I suggest "john thomas"? Though this is in the "nearby parts" category.
May I suggest peeper, in honor of my grandmother?
Also, why have I not favorited this list yet?
Well, jewels is on the list. I figured you could put "family" in front of several of these.
I still like junk. It makes me giggle.
family jewels
junk.
cullions
cojones
huevos
I can't believe I'm making suggestions.
gonads? boys? Did I just suggest words for this list? Oh my. Yes, yes I did.
