Although, now I think I have a new list idea...

I'm afraid, jennarenn, I have to side with seanahan on this one. preggers sounds too much like prego to me, which I've also heard used as a euphemism for pregnant. And I can't think of much worse than being pregnant and being called low grade spaghetti sauce.

They could be afraid of me assaulting them for using the word preggers...

Yeah, pregnancy is pretty scary. That's why I prefer preggers. How can anybody possibly be scared of getting preggers?

Well, I only say that based on the famous survey claiming it's Americans' #1 fear. I don't know the statistics in other countries. Not to suggest other countries don't share that fear, but I guess I did word it that way.

How odd; I was just about to make a list like this myself.
uselessness, why Americans only?

Most Americans would probably add public speaking.

Interesting idea for a list! If I had a list like this, I'd add heights and bridges and death and insanity and plane crashes.
