As far as Italian goes, it struck that servizi (services) was soooo demure.
In fondo a destra (turn right at the end), in Italian, means bathroom (or better, where the bathroom is). Don't ask me why because I don't know it.
Heehee. We aspire to low-brow.
I love this list, delightfully low-brow. How about pissoir?
I could suggest the twee convenience but it seems this list has had the plumbing disconnected :-(
Australia: dunny, flaming fury.
I love Porcelain National Bank - brilliant!
Man! I haven't heard kybo in ages! Here's one that may qualify: pit stop
I like kybo! I don't think I'll add the other one because I'm looking more for names than phrases... though it's a good phrase. ;-)
How about kybo?
I'd completely forgotten about that one!
Gotta go drop off the kids at the pool!
Could be! He never explained himself. I think he was just a fan of westerns. ;-)
The place one goes to ponder the puzzles of life whilst taking care of bidness?
Not much to understand, u. I've just always thought it an amusing euphemism.
We sure love the euphemisms - the facilities, tee-tee house, commode, W.C.?
Y'all are crazy. I like. ;-)
Not sure I understand Ponderosa though.
I once knew a guy who referred to such a place as the Ponderosa. :-)
Porcelain National Bank, (gotta make a big deposit!); Delivery Room (overdue deliveries...one hopes, without "postage due"), and, sometimes, "is episiotomy an option?...ah, if only, amigo, if only!!...
bushes? little girl's room and little boy's room, obnoxious though those phrases are? loo?
