The Nemesis & the Apotheosis are archetypal approaches to playing the Magi throughout the Aeons (although we will attempt to confine this list to European and American history. Hence, the list name.

This will start somewhere around the sorcerer-shaman end of the spectrum, and before long, we'll be naming religious figures in the same breath. Along the way, we may include poets, misfits, philosophers, criminals, and madmen. They'll make the journey worth taking.
