So no one else can post who has a name beginning with r, u, c_b, s, o, j, or...oh, never mind.

It's not a problem! We've just been lucky so far to have a "core group" of people whose names start with different letters. ;-)

Uh...it might have been me. I tend to use a single initial for myself, so I may have started doing so here in an especially typeractive moment. I shall try to use more letters for everyone. :-)

You may call me u. I've never particularly liked that one either, but at least I'm getting used to it. ;-)

Who ever came up with the Wordie standard of one-letter abbreviations, anyway? I never really caught on to it, and I'll still spell names out all the way... jennarenn.

Whoa, I'm sorry u. I didn't even think about it. r, u, c_b, s...bs just slipped by the censor. Would WS be more acceptable?

BS, have you met Silly Dilly Thoroughly Modern Milly?

Cute comment about VIers, R. I almost missed it. Somehow I am doubtful . . .

U, U are a silly billy! (and I don't care what your name is, I will call you Silly Billy Smith.

Listen up: Uniters is not a good idea.

So citizens of the Democratic Republic of the Congo are to be called Democrats, but they speak Republican? I'm confused.

And what about the Virgin Islands? ;->

about 1 year ago uselessness said:

If United States citizens are to be called Uniters (for clarity) then citizens of the People's Republic of China ought to be called People (capital P, again, for clarity). And they don't speak Chinese, they speak Republican. Listen to what I say, I have the plan. I will make the world a wonderful place, and an accurate one.

I wondered about douban also. Turns out two of the people who recently listed douban also listed China. description of douban here: http://www.sinosplice.com/life/archives/2005/12/13/douban
Now I understand why the appearance of these words surprised me--they are outside of my usual frame of reference.

I think that it's interesting that china (or China?) showed up on the Most Wordied, Last 7 Days list. All of the other words are either slightly esoteric, or at least pretty. Sometimes I wonder what would happen to that list if all of us tried not to steal or repeat words for an entire week. Would it break? Would it choose ten random words? I admit that I'm curious....
