I used to hate this word. It was when I started using it subconsciously did I realize I liked it.

This seems like a good candidate for Sionnach's eggcorns and effles list.

Quite yer whinin'! It's a perfectly accurate, utilitarian and delightfully descriptive "word" my kids use to describe a process they don't understand.

How does the lamppost come on just at dusk each day? It's automagic!

I use this word when cynicism is the order of the day:

The crotchety old professors thought the Internet would steal their content automagically.

Tell me this isn't a real word now...

Ah.
