I've been watching it today and it's more exciting than (and to my mind at least as olympic-worthy as) tae-kwondo, baseball, most track cycling events, diving, synchro-swimming, synchro-diving, shooting, judo, tennis - I could go on.
BMX is a great addition to the games, as is the 10k open-water swimming. Sports to scrap: football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis. Any sport in which the olympics isn't the highest accolade.
