A local name for millipede in Jamaica. So called because a larger millipede (4-6") can shoot out a toxic fluid that can blind a foraging chicken that disturbs it. I've gotten the fluid on my hands. Usually it just stains, but if it gets in along hair follicles it burns like fire. See pissabed.
