forgo/forewent, undergo/underwent, are perfectly acceptable.
I had to forgo (can one say "I forwent"?) my first impulse for a definition, as I shouldn't like to paint an overly crude picture.
Ahh, another shade of meaning. Thanks n.a.j.p. Hadn't thought of that. Maybe I, too, think as well as a ... well. I guess we know the answer to *that*.
I think it might be more metaphorical. The person thinks as well as a dick (thus, not much).
Well, OK. But it does raise the question. If you think about bad words all the time, like I apparently do...
I refuse to justify this question with an answer.
Does this mean one's head is shaped like a dick, or that there is a dick growing from one's head? Or is it simply the head of a dick?
