(n): the part of the skull of a vertebrate that frames the mouth and holds the teeth
(n): a movable speech organ
(n): a fullness and looseness of the flesh of the lower cheek and jaw (characteristic of aging)
(n): the characteristic parts of a person's face: eyes and nose and mouth and chin
I like the definition 'a movable speech organ'.
I think it was your long-ago praise of jowls that started things up again, u.
;-)
Yeah, I know. That is the beauty or the horror of the way this works.
Did I miss something? Conversations are always awkward when there's a four-month pause between sentences.
Yeah! Edit that puppy.
Maybe if he emends his constitution, he won't get jowls. ;-)
Oh you wait, kid.
Aye, this is a great one. I dog-sat a boxer for some friends last week and have had enough jowls in my face to last the rest of the year. Jowls are best when they're floppy and covered in drool, and they make that flubbery sound when the dog shakes itself.
This word cracks me up. Every. Time.
