Hmm. Well, my family is so big that my mom just looks up whenever anyone says "Mom." Just to save herself time.
Anybody ever called out "MOM!" at a potluck? You get a lot of eyes. One friend started calling her mom "Mu" just to escape the problem.
I call my mom Momus.. she thinks its Latin for mother. In this case its close enough..
