My brothers probably took them. ;-)

I didn't know they were real! We had those too! Omigosh. All these years I thought they were some weird doll my mom made. I wonder where those naugas went?

I don't know anymore, mollusque. I'm very confused.

Trivet, we had naugas when we were kids. No, I'm serious. They didn't eat much and were fun to play with. But hardly attractive. ;-)

Hee hee hee! Hmm, that's a Triad isn't it? *Googles it. Lists it*.

Wait--reesetee, did you trigger that or did I trigger that?

Uh oh. Mollusque has the drop on us, chained_bear. ;->

You realize, of course, mollusque, that you just managed to trigger both? Heehee.

Two more signs of Wordie addiction: attempting to trigger listings by other Wordies and Pavlovian responses to stimulating words.

Ha! I knew that would make you add it to your Trade Names list! (Which, by the way, I love.)

REEEEEEEALLY?! *adds it to another list*

They're endangered, you know.

I just learned that this word (a trademark) comes from "Naugatuk," a rubber-making town in Connecticut, and a variant of "hide." The "hide" part is obvious, but I had no idea Naugatuk was related.

"Do you know how many naugas had to die to make you that chair?!"
