Chained_bear, a quick Wordie search of "jabberwocky" shows the word itself on lots of "fun to say" lists, but none specifically relating to the poem. So believe it or not, it appears that you'd be the first!
Aw, go on. You know you want to get your slithy toves on that poem.
This is awesome. I had been thinking about doing something like this with "Jabberwocky," but I figured it must have been done fifteen times already (it has, right? ... Right?!). And I'm not a huge poetry fan so I didn't think I'd come up with anything nifty enough. Love reading these, though!
U, I've been thinking of ways to turn a list into an actual poem--but the thought of adding "an," "the," etc. to a list stopped me. This is a great idea!
A Wordie list in which the description contains the full text of a favorite poem. Words of interest are highlighted in blue, and also added below, as items in the list. The Poetrie is meant as a way to share poems with others, and provides a designated place to discuss them on the site. See the first one for an example. See also tunie to see how this concept can be applied to songs. Feel free to create your own!
The master list of all known Poetries is a good place to find them; make sure you add yours to the list if you do make one of your own!
U, you've inspired me to post a Tunie! Here it is. :-)
