I think it's actually meant to be a word that is not in any dictionary, but should be. (Coined--was it really?--by Rich Hall in the 1980s, IIRC.) :)
Whenever I see the word singlet I assume it must be this word. And of course it isn't.
Sniglet--I picture a mean, little, old lady who is a snob and who has a vicious tongue
that hurts the feelings of others.
And speraws--the pinched marks on the ends of hot dogs.
I've always been fond of motspur, the one wheel on a shopping cart that won't go the right way, and esso-asso (I forget if there's a hyphen in it or not), for the person who avoids a red light by turning through a corner gas station.
My favorite one was Point Blimfark--the moment in a Western movie at which the wheels on the stagecoach looked as if they were turning backwards. We needed a name for that!
